Photography is better when we have a place to share what we are learning, ask questions, show our work, and talk honestly about the process.

The Camera Dates Community is our dedicated discussion space for photographers of every experience level. It is where you can share photographs, participate in Camera Date discussions, request thoughtful feedback, ask questions, and connect with others who are also working to see and photograph the world more intentionally.

A Separate Community Account Is Required

The Camera Dates Community is hosted separately from the main Camera Dates website on our discussion platform, powered by Discourse.

Because of that, your Camera Dates website membership and your community account are not automatically connected. Even if you are already a free or paid Camera Dates member, you will need to create a separate community account the first time you visit.

You are welcome to use the same email address and login information for both accounts to keep things simple.

There is no additional charge to join the community.

Inside, you can share photographs and receive thoughtful, constructive feedback, discuss the weekly Camera Dates issues and assignments, ask questions, and talk openly about equipment, technique, editing, creativity, and the challenges that come with learning photography.

You can also follow the progress of other photographers, offer encouragement, exchange ideas, and become part of a community built around curiosity, practice, and seeing the world more intentionally.

This is not a place to compete or impress. It is a place to learn, participate, encourage one another, and keep shooting.
